Infinite X StudioTM’s Quantum Roleplaying GameTM Raises $42,000 on Kickstarter.com
December 30, 2011—Seattle, WA
Infinite X Studio, LLC, a Seattle-based roleplaying game company, announced today that their Quantum Roleplaying Game Kickstarter.com project closed out the 60-day pledge window with more than $42,000 raised to back the game.
“I’m floored by the overwhelming response of the RPG community,” said Infinite X Studio President Joshua J. Frost. “I hoped I had a good idea and a good plan to spread the word about it and the community responded, ‘Yes!’ in a very loud voice. I can’t fully express my gratitude for everyone who pledged or shared the project with others. Now the real work begins!”
Infinite X Studio launched the Quantum Roleplaying Game Kickstarter.com project on October 30th and hit the initial target of $13,000 in less than three days. Nearly 600 individuals and hobby game retailers pledged the final amount of $42,747.
“We’ve been working hard on this game for months,” Mr. Frost added, “And now we’re officially past the honeymoon phase. Time to get this game into the hands of the Kickstarter backers and the general public!”
Infinite X Studio plans to announce the official release date of the game along with two additional products in the next few weeks. A public Beta playtest of the Quantum Roleplaying Game rules will go live by the end of January.
